Seit 2006 kombiniert Xavier Paradis' Projekt Automelodi Gitarren, Synthesizer und Drum Machines, um einen originellen, raffinierten und eleganten Sound zu kreieren, ganz im Sinne moderner und minimalistischer elektronischer Musik. Automelodi schöpft aus einem reichen Fundus musikalischer Einflüsse: französischer Pop, Singer-Songwriter der 60er und 70er Jahre, französische Cold Wave, Minimal Synth und britischer Post-Punk.

Ihr bevorstehendes Konzert beim Dark Disco Festival ist Teil ihrer Europatournee, die sie auch auf die Bühne der diesjährigen Ausgabe des Cold Hearted Festivals in Dresden führen wird.

Ihre neueste EP, Cavallo, wird im November 2025 veröffentlicht, und die Tournee wird Songs aus dieser kommenden Veröffentlichung, Klassiker und Fan-Favoriten enthalten.

Das Soloprojekt des Mailänder Künstlers Stefano Castelli, ehemaliger Frontmann der Post-Punk-Band Clone Culture (Cold Transmission – DE), verbindet Synth Pop und von den 80ern inspirierten New Wave. 

Castelli schreibt und arrangiert seine Stücke in Zusammenarbeit mit Luca Urbani (Soerba, Garbo, Fluon), Produzent der Tracks und festes Mitglied des Projekts, auch bei Live-Auftritten, unterstützt von Gitarrist Claudio Chiodi. 

Mit seinem Soloprojekt und früheren Bands stand Castelli bereits mit Künstlern wie Nuovo Testamento, Curses, Korine, M!R!M, Molly Nilsson, Ultra Sunn, She Past Away, Madeline Goldstein, Metronomy, Planet Funk, Teatro degli Orrori, Ministri, Architecture in Helsinki auf der Bühne und nahm an zwei Ausgaben des Miami Festivals teil.

OBE DIA erschafft eine Parallelwelt, in der Wünsche, Träume, Sorgen und Erlebnisse zu einem dramatischen Erlebnis des lyrischen Ichs verschmelzen. Diese Dimension wird oft besser durch Musik als durch Worte vermittelt. Er findet sich selten in der Welt wieder, doch in seiner Musik entdeckt er sich selbst.

Der 26-jährige Newcomer aus Hannover bewegt sich seit Anfang des Jahres in den Sphären der Neuen Neuen Deutschen Welle sowie des Cyberpop und Discogoth. Mit tiefgründigen Texten und einer düsteren Ästhetik entführt OBE DIA seine Zuhörer in andere Welten. Dunkle Ecken der menschlichen Psyche werden zu kraftvollen, emotionalen Klängen transformiert. Die Mischung aus melancholischen Melodien und pulsierenden Beats schafft eine einzigartige Atmosphäre. Mit einer Vielfalt von elektronischen Tönen kreiert er einen Sound, der sowohl nostalgisch als auch futuristisch klingt.

Since 2006 Xavier Paradis' project Automelodi combines guitars, synthesizers, and drum machines to create an original, refined, and elegant sound, in the spirit of modern and minimalist electronic music. Automelodi draws on a rich reservoir of musical influences: French pop, 60s and 70s singer-songwriters, French cold wave, minimal synth, and British post-punk.

Their upcoming concert at Dark Disco Festival is part of their European tour, which will also see them on the stage of this year’s edition of the Cold Hearted Festival in Dresden.

Their latest EP, Cavallo, will be released in November 2025, and the tour will feature songs from this upcoming release, classics, and fan favorites.

The solo project of Milanese artist Stefano Castelli, former frontman of the post-punk band Clone Culture (Cold Transmission - DE), combines synth pop and 80s-inspired new wave.

OBE DIA creates a parallel world in which desires, dreams, worries, and experiences merge into a dramatic experience of the lyrical self. This dimension is often better conveyed through music than through words. He rarely finds himself in the world, but he discovers himself in his music.

Since the beginning of the year, the 26-year-old newcomer from Hanover has been moving in the spheres of Neue Neue Deutsche Welle (New New German Wave), cyberpop, and disco goth.
