Gaga & Movement research workshop Supporting New Piece

Join us at the end of August for a workshop combining Gaga/people classes, movement research, and an inside look at the physical research informing Goshen’s new creation, ahead of its premiere at Theater Rampe in November 2026.

Supporting the new production

All proceeds from the workshop will go directly towards the costs of Goshen’s new dance production. The funds will contribute to the fees of the artistic team, supporting the work of local and national artists involved in the creation.

For this reason, we offer four different ticket tiers, allowing you to choose the level at which you would like to support the creative process.

About Gaga/people

Gaga is the movement language developed by Ohad Naharin over many years.

The classes offer a physical workout that explores form, speed, and effort while moving through a wide range of qualities and sensations: from softness to thickness, delicacy to explosive power, and understatement to going over the top.

Participants are invited to awaken less familiar areas of the body, become more aware of their movement habits, and improve the efficiency of their movement while engaging in multilayered tasks. Throughout the class, they are encouraged to connect with pleasure—even in moments of effort.

Who can join?

The workshop is open to everyone. No previous dance experience is required.

Come and experience the joy of movement while gaining a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the development of a new dance work.
