ELIKEM ANYIGBA / ALEXANDER KUPSCH
Autor und Schauspieler Elikem Anyigba beleuchtet in einer performativen Poetry-Text Collage das Thema Depression. Er verarbeitet dabei die Verstrickungen von Verlust und Identität und stellt dabei Dichotomien wie Überforderung und Lebenswillen in den Mittelpunkt.
Musikalisch unterstützt wird er durch Schauspieler und Musiker Alexander Kupsch. Beide changieren zwischen von Synth-Teppichen und Guitar Loops bis aufs Mark durchgezogenen und schonungslos ehrlichen soundlosen Passagen, in der das reine Wort mitten ins Herz trifft.
Die beiden zeigten die Collage zum ersten Mal im Rahmen der Depri Lounge im Stapeltor Duisburg für die Community des Bündnis gegen Depression Duisburg 2024.
Author and actor Elikem Anyigba explores the subject of depression in a performative poetry-text collage. He weaves together the entanglements of loss and identity, placing dichotomies such as overwhelm and will to live at the center.
He is musically supported by actor and musician Alexander Kupsch. Together, they move between synth layers and guitar loops, and stark, unflinchingly honest moments of pure silence, where the spoken word alone strikes straight to the heart.
The two first presented the collage as part of the Depri Lounge at Stapeltor Duisburg in 2024, for the community of the Alliance Against Depression Duisburg.
