Basel's own Silent Book Club is gathering for a reading session on Tuesday 12.8. by the river Rhein, in front of Cargobar. You can spot us from a pile of books and little signs! Bring something to make sitting comfortable, you can buy drinks from the bar or bring your own.
We first settle and chat a bit, and then start a silent reading hour together at 19.30. You're welcome to continue reading after, or share and discuss with others what you've been reading. You can read whatever you wish, in any format you like, and there will always be a couple of extra books in English to grab in case yours was eaten by a dog or you decide to join last minute.
