The 1st March march is an annual tradition in the canton of Neuchâtel, bringing together several hundred people to commemorate the arrival of revolutionaries in Neuchâtel in 1848 to drive out the King of Prussia and turn the canton of Neuchâtel into a republic ! Join us and take the opportunity to discover other Erasmus students while enjoying the beautiful landscapes of the region ! We will travel to La Chaux-de-Fonds by train and then walk down to the Castle of Neuchâtel. The walk will take about 5½ hours and you will be back to Neuchâtel around 5pm. Bring your picnic, plenty of water, your best trainers and your most comfortable and warm clothes ! We look forward to seeing you !!
