On Monday, 8 September 2025, Urbansurf Zürich transforms into an open-air cinema for the Swiss film premiere of 50 Hours Underwater.
This award-winning documentary, produced by Victor Oonk and Shahrzad Mazloumsaki at Lifton Media, follows the extraordinary mission of Maldivian tech diver Shafraz Naeem (Shaff), who spent an incredible 50 hours non-stop underwater to raise awareness about the devastating impact of plastic pollution in the Maldives.

The film screening also marks the kick-off to the upcoming world-record expedition Across Maldives. In January 2026, Shafraz plans to dive the entire length of the Maldives – from north to south – over 460 kilometers, more than 55 dives, spending 90+ hours underwater - and all of this in under 30 days. Along the way, he and his team of divers and marine scientists will collect valuable marine conservation data and work with local communities to protect the country’s unique underwater world.Be among the first to get insights into the planning of this groundbreaking mission!
