To mark this beginning, we warmly invite you to the opening celebration and vernissage of our inaugural exhibition:
This Moment, and the Rest of Time
featuring works by Zhang Yunfei and Tetiana Kartasheva
MEP is a new art space powered by matcha — a place where contemporary art, cultural exchange, and everyday rituals come together.
For our first exhibition, we bring together two artistic practices that approach form, balance, material, and perception in different yet resonant ways.
Zhang Yunfei, a ceramic artist from Jingdezhen, China, works with clay as a material shaped by time, pressure, fragility, and transformation.
Tetiana Kartasheva, a Zurich-based artist working with abstraction and spatial experience, explores the emotional and psychological resonance of form through painting, graphic work, and installation.
Rather than presenting artworks as fixed outcomes, This Moment, and the Rest of Time invites visitors into a shared field of presence, where artworks, artistic process, and everyday life meet within the same temporal flow.
Join us for an afternoon of art, conversation, and matcha as we open this new space in Lucerne.
