About this workshop

This session is part of the Samba Enredo Weekend with Gabriel Lopes, hosted by Zurich School of Samba.

Brazilian percussionist Gabriel Lopes will lead participants through the musical language of Rio de Janeiro samba schools, exploring groove, listening and ensemble playing in a full bateria setting.

Open to all levels. Instruments will be available, and participants are also welcome to bring their own.
