What to expect
This is not a typical student party. It will be an authentic techno rave. No overplayed charts, no overpriced drinks (you can bring your own drinks!), no pressure – just music, movement and a shared moment on the dancefloor. We’re creating a space where you can be your true self, discover something new and feel the energy of a different kind of night out. Especially if you’ve never been to a Techno event before – this is your chance to make an authentic expierience away from mass production techno events. Winterthur has so much culture to offer, come an get a glimpse of it.

During first set DJ Set from 22:00-24:00 there will be an info desk where questions about rave culture, the scene, and everything around it are welcome. No pressure, no lectures — just an opportunity to connect, exchange, and get a glimpse into what this community is really about. Dedicated techno lovers will be there to answer your questions from 22:00 til 00:30.

Music
You don’t need to “understand” Techno to enjoy it. It has so many diffrent subgenres, moods and crowds. There no such thing as the one picture of techno you have in mind. So please forget about stereotypes and come and give it a try. Think of it less like a concert…more like a expierience which yet has to been made.

The heart of the night will be the subgenre Groove – a style of Techno that focuses on rhythm and flow.
It’s all about that subtle push-and-pull between bass and percussion that makes your body move almost automatically.

Expect a mix of: Groovy and danceable rhythms; Elements of Hardgroove, Bounce and Acid. Sounds you probably haven’t heard before – but might instantly love. In case you’re curious here are some Sets:
