Problem Child

Denise and R.J., a young couple, have been through a lot. R.J. was in prison, Denise is fighting drug addiction. Due to their troubled past the young parents had their young daughter taken away from them by child protection services. In hopes of getting her back they have been asked to stay at a motel in the middle of nowhere to be accessible for Helen, who works for child protection services. The play depicts the emotional turmoil and confrontation the couple have to go up against in the fight for their daughter.
Denise und R.J. sind ein junges Paar, das harte Zeiten hinter sich hat. R.J. saß im Gefängnis und Denise kämpft gegen ihre Drogensucht an. Aufgrund ihrer schwierigen Vergangenheit wurde den jungen Eltern ihre Tochter vom Jugendamt weggenommen. In der Hoffnung sie zurückzubekommen, folgen sie dem Wunsch des Amtes in einem Motel unterzukommen und dort erreichbar zu sein. Das Theaterstück stellt den emotionalen Tumult und die Gegenwehr mit der das Paar in dem Kampf um ihre Tochter konfrontiert wird dar.
