The Expert Track
For experienced professionals who want intelligent options — not a career crisis.

I. About the workshop
You see AI changing your industry — not someday, but now. You're not sure whether to upskill, shift direction, or simply wait and see. This one-day workshop gives you clarity: a realistic roadmap to navigate the AI transition without abandoning the expertise you've spent years building.
AI is restructuring industries and accelerating faster than most career plans account for. Roles are shifting, expectations are changing, and the professionals who will come out ahead are not necessarily the most technical — they're the ones who combine deep domain knowledge with the ability to think clearly about where AI creates real value.
That's the combination this workshop is built around.
Your professional expertise, risk mindset, and decision-making experience are exactly what serious AI initiatives need — and what purely technical profiles often lack. This workshop helps you understand how to use that as an advantage.
This is not about panic moves or walking away from your career.
It's about building a second track — a considered, realistic Plan B — based on what you already know. Something you

This is not about panic moves or walking away from your career.
It's about building a second track — a considered, realistic Plan B — based on what you already know. Something you can develop thoughtfully, with control, alongside your current role.
This is for you if you are:
— Exploring an AI-related direction alongside your current position
— Considering a move into an AI role, advisory capacity, or independent practice
— Looking to make informed decisions about AI before circumstances force the question
You'll leave with clarity, structure, and a concrete roadmap — not vague intentions.

II. What to expect
By the end of this workshop, you will:
✅ Understand what AI really is — and isn't — as a business tool. Cut through the hype and focus on what actually works in practice.
✅ Identify three realistic directions specific to your professional background and expertise — not generic AI business ideas.
✅ Know how to validate a direction before investing serious time or money. The frameworks used to test a concept before committing to it.
✅ Understand how to work with AI teams, vendors, and technical partners — without needing to write code yourself.
✅ Evaluate AI projects from a decision-maker's perspective — value, risk, feasibility, and what to watch out for.
✅ Leave with a personal 90-day action plan — concrete next steps, not motivational intentions.
THE FORMAT
A practical working day with structured sessions, peer discussion, real cases, and honest answers — including what doesn't work and why.
No theoretical lectures. No motivational speeches. Frameworks, examples, and a clear path forward.

III. Why this matters now
AI adoption in companies is projected to more than double in the next 12 months. Traditional roles are shifting faster than most professionals are prepared for — and the professionals who wait for certainty before acting are the ones with the fewest options when the market moves.
This workshop helps you act before circumstances force the decision — by building a second track aligned with your existing strengths.
What participants say:
"I liked that Nick honestly shared what worked and what didn't. No illusions — how to combine your own projects with a corporate job, and how to start when you only have an idea." — Anna, banking professional, workshop participant

IV. Who teaches this
Nick Gushchin spent 18 years in international banking at executive level. At 40, with no technical background, he spent three years learning to build with AI — through real projects, real commercial environments, and decisions that didn't always work out.
By the end of that process, he had delivered 15+ AI-powered projects in production, launched AI-backed ventures, and advised companies on AI transformation in regulated environments.
Today, Nick works as:
— AI Transformation Manager at SFS Group (CHF 3B+ Swiss manufacturer operating in 50+ countries)
— Applied AI Lecturer at Swiss Digital Skills Academy (Digicomp)
— Host of the Head of AI Club in Zurich
— Speaker at international AI conferences and podcasts
The workshop is built directly from that experience — what proved useful, and what consistently didn't.
────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
Primarily designed for professionals in banking, financial services, insurance, and consulting. Also relevant for those in other regulated industries navigating the same transition.
The date is confirmed provisionally. Final scheduling will be aligned with participant availability.
