Conscious Dance: Journey Within - Dance, Draw, Reflect

We invite you to experience an azul conscious dance practice on Sunday, September 29: 
"Journey Within: Dance, Draw, Reflect"

Join a transformative exploration of self through movement, art, and introspection. This workshop invites you to delve deep within, using dance as a gateway to connect with your innermost emotions. Unleash your creativity as you translate these feelings into art, whether through drawing, painting, or journaling. This holistic experience encourages you to discover new images, ideas and feelings within yourself, embrace your authenticity and express it freely.

What to expect: This session combines azul conscious dance, movement therapy techniques, and community interaction. Guided by thoughtfully curated music, deep inquiries and a supportive environment, you will experience a safe space to express yourself freely, explore new movements, and connect with others. The focus is on deepening your understanding of your body and emotions, fostering emotional resilience, enhancing creative expression, and improving overall well-being.

What to bring/wear: 
- Wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement. You can dance in non-slippery socks or barefoot. 
 - Please avoid or minimize perfume use, as strong scents can be distracting or uncomfortable for some participants. 
 - Bring water to stay hydrated.
 - You can bring your art (drawing/painting/sculpting) supplies, if you want. Basic materials will be provided.

What is Azul conscious dance? 
Azul conscious dance is a practice of deep listening and authentic movement. It's not about performing or looking good; it's about tuning into your body's natural rhythms and expressions. Whether you find yourself moving freely or engaging in subtle, internal movements, this practice is all about embracing what feels true for you in the moment. It’s an exploration that is freeing, fun, and deeply relaxing, allowing you to reconnect with your authentic self.

No prior dance experience required. Everyone is welcome to go on this journey.

Date/time: September 29, 2024, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm (CET)
Important: We start at 11 am sharp, and aim to finish at 1 pm. We always start on time. Come 10-15 mins earlier.
Location: Studio 2 in Tanzwerk101, Pfingstweidstrasse 101, 8005 Zürich 
(13 mins by foot from Hardbrücke train station, or 2 tram stops). Go to the floor 1, then follow the signs of Tanzwerk101.
Price: 45 CHF. Supporter ticket - 55 CHF: contribute more to support the event and its organizers, and help cover for Reduced tickets. Students and unemployed: 35 CHF. If you can't pay, contact me in advance and still join us.

Package: Get an 8-hour Pass for 110 CHF (standard) or 80 CHF (students/unemployed). This pass allows you to attend any combination of 2-hour, 3-hour, 4-hour, or 7-hour offline sessions in Zurich. If there is 1 hour remaining on the pass, you can either carry it over to the next pass or use it towards another session at a prorated rate. When  buying the pass now, it's valid until 01.06.2025.

Ekaterina Kamenskaya is a powerful creator, coach, mentor and an Azul conscious dance teacher from Zürich. 

Ekaterina has a rich and diverse background and experience:
- A PhD in Engineering and a scientific book publication
- A 17-year engineering career, including 13.5 years at Google
- Taught various courses to Google employees, such as Life Design, mindfulness, emotional intelligence based on neuroscience, human connection, etc.
- Led D&I and educational communities, gave talks at the various conferences, organized hundreds of events
- Studied and practiced somatics, body psychotherapy and conscious dance
- Offered mentorship and coaching
- Led multiple conscious dance workshops in Zurich since 2022
