The Roaring Cats with Special Guest Luca Filastro

The Roaring Cats are one of Europe's most promising bands when it comes to swing and hot jazz. The 7 piece band from Amsterdam has set itself the task of enhancing the roots of jazz and giving them new meaning.

Their repertoire consists of original arrangements of the best pieces by the great artists of the 30s and 40s. In addition, they present original compositions with style. Great notes and a great show for swing dancers and everyone who likes jazz.

Luca Filastro discovered the music of Fats Waller and Jelly Roll Morton at the age of five and immediately started playing the piano. The representatives of traditional piano jazz, including of course Earl Hines, Art Tatum and Oscar Peterson, have remained his heroes to this day. Born in Calabria in 1992, Luca Filastro Stride combines piano, swing, bebop and blues - and is causing a sensation far beyond Italy's borders.
