Breathwork and Meditation: Your Inner Child

Event Description: Join us in this Breathwork and Meditation evening dedicated to exploring “Your inner child.” Through a series of practices, including Breathwork and Meditation, we will explore the depths of our psyche and reconnect to our body.

CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE ,DETACHED RETINA OR GLAUCOMA ,DIAGNOSED BRAIN OR ABDOMEN ANEURYSM , EPILEPSY, DIAGNOSED BIPOLAR OR SCHIZOPHRENIA, UNCONTROLLED DIABETES OR THYROID CONDITIONS , HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE , PREGNANCY. 

Blankets, yoga mats and cushions will be provided. 
Please bring with you:

- Comfortable clothes

- Water bottle

- Something to write on

Event Structure:

1. Connecting Exercises: We will start with exercises aimed at fostering self-connection and group connection. This helps create safety in the group

2. Exploration:  Through different meditation, breathing and other exercises we will explore the topic of the session. 

3. Breathwork: A one hour breathwork session will allow us to deepen our experience while mantaining bodily awareness and mindfulness.

4. Integration: We will finish with integration practices to solidify your experiences and insights. 

About the Topic:

What kind of experiences you have had regarding your inner child? For me, before ever coming to terms with my inner child, it felt like something ridiculous to look at. As I have explored it, I have realised the importance of it. Without reconnecting with the sensitivity that we had as children it is hard to realise how sensitive we are today. 

We live in such a fast paced world where there is little room to be sensitive. Working with the inner child is a way to recognise our sensitivity and vulnerability, and to treat that part of us with the love and compassion with which we would treat a child. Unfortunately, if we were treated with judgements or pressure as child, we might be even inclined to treat a child in the same way. So sometimes that also needs to be explored, so that we can learn new ways of being with ourselves.
