Alby chooses to inhabit many genres at once. Originally from Berne and now based in Zurich, she weaves jazz, odd meters, and pop into a sound world entirely her own, vulnerable yet razor-sharp. Her songs are atmospheric, sometimes unsettling, always honest. For this concert, Alby will perform in an intimate duo setting with Nirmala Chandra Güntert on guitar. Together, they let the music breathe: catchy grooves and finely woven harmonic textures open space for virtuosic improvisation, creating a resonant home for Alby’s introspective, thought-provoking lyrics.

Dani Bumba embodies Soul Kongolaise, a unique fusion of soul, Congolese rumba, R&B, French pop and jazz, a style he describes as a jam session between Fela Kuti, Sam Cooke and The Beatles at Papa Wemba’s home. Through his EP TSM (Transformer le Seum en Muse), he explores with depth and intensity themes such as masculine vulnerability, mental health, consent and Love, offering music that is profoundly human and emotional, speaking to both body and soul. Accompanied by his band Les Mélangeurs, he delivers on stage a performance that is both spiritual and electrifying, where every note becomes a dialogue between tradition and modernity.
