Movie screening "Writing Hawa" with Amnesty International

The Amnesty Zurich English speaking and Women Right's volunteer groups invite you to an evening to shed light on the lives of Afghan women under the Taliban regime and the challenges women and girls face since the return of the Taliban to power in 2021.

This event aims at raising awareness about the situation and offers a space for people to learn and exchange.

We will be screening "Writing Hawa":
Filmed over five years, Writing Hawa follows three generations of women as they fight for their dreams against the patriarchal forces of geopolitics.

After the screening, we will host a panel discussion with Q/A on the current situation of women and girls in Afghanistan. Participants will be communicated in the coming weeks.
