An adaptation of three tales of the Colombian author Triunfo Arciniégas.
Three stories with fantastic overtones about visitors who arrive at Toto ́s home, he is a boy who lives with his mother and sister in a Latin American town.
These visits are:
The town's Madman, known by everyone for his poetic way of seeing the world. The
Madman flies magical kites and covers the streets with flowers, and one day plants a
tree of fire. Serafín, a little devil, who loses a coin his father had given him to buy razors. Toto, who
had found the coin earlier, tries to get rid of it, and realizes it brings bad luck to whoever picks it up.
Aunt Adelaida, who three years after her death returns to meet her husband and
demand an explanation for having abandoned her for another woman.
The three stories show Toto's imaginary world as he grows up and learns about real
life.
