Classical Music & APERO

Join us in Zurich for an inspiring evening of Romantic chamber music with the Ardens Trio, in a special concert supported by Mission Possible VC.

This performance brings together three internationally accomplished musicians for a night of passion, virtuosity, and refined ensemble artistry.

The ensemble features pianist Pier Carmine Garzillo, a prizewinning performer who graduated with highest honors at just 17 and has appeared in prestigious venues such as the Musikverein in Vienna and the Scriabin Museum in Moscow. He is currently Piano Professor at the “D. Cimarosa” Conservatory in Avellino. He is joined by violinist Federica Severini, who trained in Naples, Rome, Lugano, and at the renowned Stauffer and Chigiana Academies. She performs as 1st Violin Tutti with La Verdi Symphony Orchestra and recently won the Tutti Violin position with the RAI National Symphony Orchestra. Completing the trio is cellist Anzhe Zuo, a Zurich-based Chinese musician and international prizewinner who performs as a soloist and chamber musician across Europe and plays a historic 1900 Rudolf Heckel cello.

The program explores the emotional depth and virtuosity of the piano trio repertoire. Audiences will hear Sigismund Thalberg’s Piano Trio in A major, Op. 69, Sergei Rachmaninoff’s lyrical and intense Trio élégiaque No. 1 in G minor, Op. 9, and Franz Liszt’s dramatic “Tristia” Piano Trio in C minor. The concert promises rich Romantic sonorities, sweeping melodic lines, and refined ensemble interplay in an intimate chamber music setting.
