Funk & Smooth Jazz

INTERMEZZO um Gründer Robert Christa verbindet eigene Kompositionen und ausgewählte Covers aus Funk, Latin und Smooth Jazz. Die Originalsongs entstehen in Zusammenarbeit mit renommierten Profimusikerinnen und ‑musikern weltweit und prägen den eleganten, groovenden Sound der Formation.

Seit 1985 tourt INTERMEZZO in variabler Besetzung vom Trio bis zum international besetzten Septett. Auszeichnungen wie der Jazzpreis der Stadt Oberkochen (1992) sowie Auftritte im Nightclub des Bayerischen Hofs in München und im Ulmer Zelt stehen für den hohen künstlerischen Anspruch.

Christas Musik läuft weltweit im Radio – unter anderem bei SmoothJazz.com – und erreichte in britischen Charts Platz 14, Seite an Seite mit Larry Carlton, Bob James und Chris Standring. Das Publikum erwartet ein abwechslungsreiches Programm: melodiös, rhythmisch, mit viel Spielfreude.
