ecyce consists of Elio Monn (guitar), Josip Tijan (bass, backing vocals), Aurelia Kapfer (guitar, backing vocals), Yancey Aguilar (drums) and Darius Talaat (vocals). All members are already active musicians in various projects of the Swiss scene (including Blanche Biau, THYMIAN, Sun Dera, Hydrophobics, Superdark), but they found eachother through a shared love of heavy guitar music and internet humor.

On “we talked about everything but this”, ecyce's first EP, the band presents hard-hitting shoegaze. The five-piece band tackles heavy topics such as failure, political radicalization and an overdose of magic mushrooms. Heavy riffs meet thunderous drums and leads that are almost drowned in reverb. The vocals alternate betweenspoken passages, singing and angry screams—until the voice fails.
