It is with great excitement to announce this special evening with Tavo Vazquez from Curawaka, Cesar Alcedo and Lisa Anuloma!
The concert and the sound journey will be opened with cacao from the Ashaninka people & songs shared by Lisa Anuloma, which will then flow into the concert of Tavo Vazquez and Cesar Alcedo.
About Tavo: "Argentinian artist Gustavo Vazquez grew up playing in various music projects, performing genres such as rock, reggae and punk. His art deepened upon his studios of Latin American folkloric music and led him on a multi-instrumental path, focusing on the charango, guitar and Andean flutes. Later, Tavo’s travels through the Andes of Argentina, Bolivia and Peru connected him with the music of indigenous people and their cultures and cosmovisions, leaving an indelible mark on his perception and production of music.
These days Tavo roams the world sharing his healing, ceremonial music, passes on his knowledge through workshops and is, of course, a treasured part of Curawaka."
