This workshop invites participants to create Sêva Mêxekrêj together. A traditional object situated between scent and memory, symbolizing love and commitment. Through a shared, hands-on practice, the workshop opens a space for reflection on ritual, embodied knowledge, and the transmission of traditions, guided by an expert. With this Workshop the Kurdish tradition of Sêva Mêxekrêj is combined with Valentines Day so you can show your love and appreciation by gifting it to your better half.
Throughout the event, an ongoing presentation offers deeper insight into the history and meaning of Sêva Mêxekrêj, accompanied by traditional food and drinks to sustain and energize participants during this hours-long handcraft practice.
