TEDxGVAGrad 5th Conference

TEDxGVAGrad is a student-run initiative and an independently organized TED event in the spirit of TEDx – a program of local, self organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At TEDxGVAGrad, we present a unique opportunity to bring together diverse voices across sectors to encourage the spread of ideas that tackle our contemporary realities in the backdrop of international Geneva. 

This year’s TEDxGVAGrad embraces the paradox at the heart of our age — a time of rapid change, deep uncertainty, and unprecedented possibility. “May You Live in Interesting Times” invites us to reflect on what it means to thrive amid turbulence, to confront complexity rather than retreat from it, and to find creativity in chaos. A reminder that “interesting times” are rarely easy, yet always fertile ground for transformation. As the world grapples with crises of climate, technology, inequality, and identity, we are called not to seek comfort in simplicity, but to embrace nuance, contradiction, and courage. At the Geneva Graduate Institute, TEDxGVAGrad invites us to rethink how we engage with the world’s turbulence, using curiosity, empathy, and imagination to turn disruption into dialogue and uncertainty into insight. Together, let’s not just endure these interesting times — let’s learn from them, shape them, and redefine what it means to live fully within them
