H:B:E:M is the sonic alliance of Alfonso and Tony, two Zurich-based Italians whose paths crossed in 2005 at Donato Capozzi’s Number One Record Store. What began as afternoons digging records and exchanging ideas soon evolved into a deep-rooted musical partnership.
In 2007 they found themselves in Ibiza, shaping their craft while holding residencies and playing across the island’s most respected venues — SunSeaBar (powered by Cafe del Mar as Resident Dj’s), Privilege, Pacha Hotel, Blue Marlin, KM5, Ushuaïa, and different private villas — as well as delivering weekly sets live on Ibiza Global Radio. Their sound is fluid yet precise: a blend of disco, house, techno, breaks, and rare grooves — always guided by an instinct for narrative and atmosphere rather than trends. Two artists, one pulse. 2020 marked the birth of HistoryBeginsEveryMorning Records, an intimate vinyl-only imprint distributed worldwide by Smallblackdots. With contributions from the likes of Alex Neri, Ivan Iacobucci, Dan Piu, Spacetravel, Miki, Franco Falsini, Auto Union and Domenico Rosa, the label reflects their long-standing ethos: authenticity over hype, substance over spectacle. Those who’ve witnessed H:B:E:M behind the decks know — it’s more than a DJ set; it’s a dialogue. A celebration of deep musical heritage, shaped by years of brotherhood and a shared vision of where sound can go next.
