Why are the service fees not refunded when an event is canceled?

The service fees are not refunded because they cover the processing of your order, and this service is already completed once you have ordered your ticket.

Unlike other ticketing providers, we generally do not charge any fees on tickets.

If service fees do apply, they are the costs incurred due to the model chosen by the event organizer. The organizer can decide whether these costs are passed on to the ticket buyers.

The service fees also include third-party costs that arise during online payment, which Eventfrog pays to the payment service provider.
