Who has access to the streams, and how do ticket buyers get the streaming link?

Your ticket buyers will receive the streaming link directly with the order confirmation, provided you have already entered it when creating the event. If they click on the "Go to live stream" button in the email, they will be redirected. If you have not yet entered the link, the ticket buyers will still receive a link that leads to Eventfrog and redirects them to your live stream as soon as you link it. You can submit the link later in the event cockpit under «Streaming».

The system checks whether the ticker buyer is logged in. Only logged-in users will be forwarded directly to the stream. The others have to log in beforehand and can access the login via the link first.

With the redirection (or after logging in), ticket buyers are redirected to the Eventfrog page of the event on which the link is embedded (e.g. YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch). If a streaming solution via Facebook, Instagram or others has been selected, they will be redirected there after clicking on the link.

If you do not activate streaming on our platform, please communicate the streaming link directly to your ticket buyers and use the text on the ticket, the event description, or email all ticket buyers.

If you offer your streaming event as a calendar entry without ticketing, the stream will be shown directly on the event details page.

Can streams only be watched by those who buy a ticket?

This depends on which streaming solution you use. Livestreams on Facebook and Instagram can of course still be viewed directly on these platforms. If you want a more exclusive solution, you can set the livestream on YouTube to "Not listed", for example, so that only those with a ticket and those with the direct link have access to it.
