Die Band Dietmar, Dirk und Ruben (D.D.R.) spielen keine Lieder aus dem Land, das es nicht mehr gibt, sondern ausschließlich eigene Songs in ihrer Muttersprache. Und da Dirk ein Teil des Musikkabarett-Duos „Schwarze Grütze“ ist, sollte klar sein, dass es sich um Texte mit einem gewissen Augenzwinkern handelt. Mit Mutter-Sprach-Witz, sozusagen.

Die Band erlebt nach 15 jähriger Pause ein Revival. Da die Zeit nicht spurlos an ihnen vorbei gegangen ist, nennen sie ihre Musik: Falten-Rock. Nach dem Motto: Quark ist auch nur vergammelte Milch, warum soll nicht aus mir noch was werden! musizieren sie mit Orgel, Schlagzeug und Gitarre. Und alle singen mit. Es gibt keinen schöneren Ort für dieses überfällige Come-Back!
