sensory soulbody // somatic movement process
Credits: tanja saban
sensory soulbody
This 3h session is a journey into connecting and listening with your inner being. Through guided movement-, body awareness and writing practices we tune into our senses and sensitivity and open up a space for dialogue, reflection and dreaming.
sensory soulbody is a practice and creative process that combines movement, sensing and feeling to access deeper layers of self-awareness. Movement, breath, awareness- and writing practices provide an investigative framework for self-reflection, exploring the communication between the conscious and unconscious mind through the sensory experience of the body.
core elements of the work are:
movement as primary sense - through movement we perceive, process, express and communicate experiences
sensation and feeling - attention is oriented to the internal sensory landscape - the felt sense of the body. expanding this somatic awareness and becoming literate in the bodie’s language of sensation and feeling leads to greater mental and emotional clarity
vision architecture - a tool for consciously mapping desires, dreams and intentions, integrating their intelligence through embodied practice

Tanja Saban
is a dancer, choreographer Gaga teacher and somatic movement coach. She is co-foundress of D’FRAC, a platform for immersive dance experiences oscillating between club culture, performance and somatics. The heart of her artistic solo practice,
g e s c h oe p f, is an ongoing research of the body in motion - a space of dreaming awake and radical imagination in the unfolding of sensory intelligence. Evolving around deep listening practices with the more-than-human world and mythology, she collaboratively develops works at the intersection of sound, dance, science and new technologies. THIRD SPACE LAB is her platform where she conducts an ongoing research in spatial sound and dance and the practice of sonic somatics.
