ESN Bern - Hiking Day 2 Rütli-Bauen

Dear Erasmi, 

Join us on the iconic Rütli-Bauen hike, where Switzerland’s story meets some of its most stunning landscapes! This scenic hike goes along Lake Uri, combining lakeside paths, dramatic viewpoints, and legendary stops like the Rütli meadow, the symbolic birthplace of Switzerland. Expect around 2 hours of boat ride in the morning followed by 3+ hours of intermediate hiking, epic panoramas, and plenty of moments worth capturing! 

REGISTRATION: Will be opened on Sunday, 26th of April at 18:00. Get your ticket on Eventfrog!

WHERE: Bern main station (under the big departure screens)

WHEN: The event takes place on Saturday, 2nd of May. Meeting time is at 07:30. We will be back in Bern by 19:00.

With GA:
- with ESNcard: 7 CHF
- without ESNcard: 12 CHF
With Halbtax / no train reduction/ night GA:
- with ESNcard: 15 CHF
- without ESNcard: 20 CHF

 Tickets Include: train tickets, boat tickets, snacks

 Tickets DO NOT Include: lunch, please bring your own

Important Info: 
Please make sure that you are comfortable hiking for 3+ hours with 500m of elevation. Wear hiking shoes, bring enough water to drink, and your lunch. Check the weather on the day of the event and dress appropriately.

ESN card discount:

The ticket options “with ESN card” are available at a special reduced price for holders of the ESN card. Please only purchase a ticket from this category if you own a valid ESN card or if you plan to buy one in the near future. You can buy a card from ESN Bern for 15.- CHF. It is valid for one year and will give you discounts at our activities. Note that the card needs to be filled with your personal information and that it will be checked at the beginning of each activity.

GA

The “Generalabonnement” (GA) by the swiss train company SBB is a monthly or annual subscription that grants holders unlimited travel on almost all trains. This is not handled by ESN. Please only buy a ticket from the category “with GA” if you own this train subscription from SBB. Half fare, GA Night and local transportation subscriptions are irrelevant for our events.

Refund policy

Please understand that ESN Bern cannot issue refunds on any tickets sold due to multiple reasons. You are allowed to resell the ticket for the same price to fellow students / ESN members (with the same train reductions). Please note that selling tickets with a profit is forbidden.

Also note that the illness insurance is provided by Eventfrog and ESN has nothing to do with it.
