ESN Bern - Hiking Day Bürgenstock

Dear Erasmi,

Join us for a beautiful spring hike along Lake Lucerne, starting at Bürgenstock, where we will pass by a famous luxury resort. We will take the boat first and then take an impressive furnicular up the mountain. It is one of the oldest funis of Switzerland and dates back to 1888. Get ready for immaculate views! Hike stats: 8km, 300m elevation up and 650m downhill, will take ~4hrs.

REGISTRATION: Will be opened on Tuesday, 5th of May at 12:00 (noon). Get your ticket on Eventfrog!

WHERE: The hike will be around Bürgenstock, Lake Lucerne. We meet at the Bern main station at the meeting point.

 WHEN: The event will take place on Sunday, 10th of May at 8:10. We will be back in Bern at around 18:00.

With GA:
- with ESNcard: CHF 6
- without ESNcard: CHF 11
With Halbtax / no train reduction/ night GA:
- with ESNcard: CHF 20
- without ESNcard: CHF 25

Tickets include: Train, boat and furnicular Ticket
Tickets DO NOT include: Lunch, snacks or drinks

Important Info: Wear hiking or trail shoes, bring lunch and enough water to drink. Check the weather on the day of the event and dress appropriately. For hiking, wearing different layers to take off and put on is best.

ESN card discount:

The ticket options “with ESN card” are available at a special reduced price for holders of the ESN card. Please only purchase a ticket from this category if you own a valid ESN card or if you plan to buy one in the near future. You can buy a card from ESN Bern for 15.- CHF. It is valid for one year and will give you discounts at our activities. Note that the card needs to be filled with your personal information and that it will be checked at the beginning of each activity.

GA

The “Generalabonnement” (GA) by the swiss train company SBB is a monthly or annual subscription that grants holders unlimited travel on almost all trains. This is not handled by ESN. Please only buy a ticket from the category “with GA” if you own this train subscription from SBB. Half fare, GA Night and local transportation subscriptions are irrelevant for our events.

Refund policy

Please understand that ESN Bern cannot issue refunds on any tickets sold due to multiple reasons. You are allowed to resell the ticket for the same price to fellow students / ESN members (with the same train reductions). Please note that selling tickets with a profit is forbidden.

Also note that the illness insurance is provided by Eventfrog and ESN has nothing to do with it.
