Quantum computing offers great potential for solving problem classes that are extremely difficult or currently out of reach for classical methods alone. It is an emerging technology stack that enables developers and technical professionals to tackle specific problem classes in entirely new ways and, in some domains, to achieve massive speed-ups. Our three-day Industry training is particularly designed for developers, engineers, and technically oriented experts from industry who want to move beyond basics: learning how to work with quantum computing in practice. From the required skills to seamless integration into existing software and data workflows.

This complimentary training program provides in-depth, practice-oriented knowledge in quantum computing with a clear focus on industrial applications and hands-on elements. Participants gain insight into the technical competencies needed to get started (e.g., linear algebra, programming, cloud and API experience), the specific problem types addressable by quantum algorithms, and strategies for translating them into proof-of-concepts within company contexts. All professional backgrounds are welcome – whether you're already technical or seeking a deeper dive.

Across four modulesBasics, Hardware, Algorithmics, and Applicationyou will explore significantly more depth than in a general introductory course:

  • Understand diverse quantum hardware platforms from a developer's perspective.
  • Master quantum software stacks, SDKs, and implement simple quantum algorithms hands-on.
  • Analyze real-world industrial challenges from logistics, finance, chemistry, or manufacturing, and map them to quantum-suitable formulations.
  • Discuss integration scenarios, hybrid classical-quantum workflows, and practical pitfalls in enterprise projects.

Together, we work through concrete use casesrom optimization and quantum machine learning to quantum chemistry examples – and explore how to identify, model, and prototype them in your organization. This training empowers technical professionals to advance from quantum awareness to genuine quantum readiness.

The event is aimed at Primarily developers and engineers from industry. Also open to students, PhDs, researchers, and other technical professionals from academia.
