Drei, Zwei, Eins... Action! Drei Regisseur*innen werden herausgefordert, ihr jüngstes Werk zu präsentieren. Erst auf der Bühne teilt ihnen das Publikum das Genre und den Schauplatz ihres Streifens zu, woraufhin sie reihum zusammen mit den Schauspieler*innen ihre Szenen improvisieren müssen. Doch nur die besten Filme kommen eine Runde weiter, bis nur noch ein Kinohit übrigbleibt, dessen Regisseur*in mit einem Grande Finale aufwarten darf.
