Im Beethoven-Jubiläumsjahr 2027 widmet sich die Pianistin Fatjona Maliqi einem der außergewöhnlichsten Werke der Klavierliteratur: Beethovens 33 Veränderungen über einen Walzer von Diabelli op. 120.

Aus einem einfachen Walzer, von Beethoven spöttisch als „Schusterfleck“ bezeichnet, entstand ein faszinierender musikalischer Kosmos – voller Humor und Virtuosität, aber auch tiefer Ruhe und spiritueller Einkehr. Die Diabelli-Variationen, Beethovens letztes großes Klavierwerk, faszinieren bis heute durch ihre Modernität und ihren außergewöhnlichen Ausdrucksreichtum.

Zur Künstlerin

Fatjona Maliqi wurde an der Musikhochschule Münster bei Prof. Heribert Koch ausgebildet und erhielt 2025 den Münster STELLA Award Klassik. Konzertauftritte führten sie unter anderem nach London, Wien und New York sowie zu Rundfunkproduktionen des WDR.

Beethovens Diabelli-Variationen bilden einen besonderen Schwerpunkt ihres Repertoires und wurden von ihr bereits mehrfach international aufgeführt.
