Der Name Paul Lincke steht wie kein anderer für Berliner Schwung, für temporeiche Musik der Gründerzeit und romantisch-gefühlvolle Melodien. Sein Folies-Bergère-Marsch aus seiner Zeit als Kapellmeister an diesem, wohl berühmtesten Varietétheater und Kabarett in Paris, sein verträumtes Glühwürmchen-Idyll, die lebensfrohe Berliner Luft der Walzer Verschmähte Liebe und natürlich die vielen Melodien aus Frau Luna und anderen Bühnenwerken Linckes sind unvergessen. Die Musiker von WAGNERS SALONQUARTETT widmen ihm und seiner Zeit ein besonderes Programm. Hören Sie Musik von Lincke, Holländer, Translateur, Leo Fall und vielen anderen aus der Zeit von 1860 bis 1910. Es spielen Juliana Soproni – Violine, Martin Karl-Wagner – Flöte/Bass, Klaus Liebetrau – Fagott und Thomas Goralczyk – Klavier.
