Seit fast 20 Jahren machen Soultrouble and the Heavy Horns ihr eigenes Ding – abseits des Mainstreams, irgendwo zwischen Rock, Jazz und Soul. Die Musiker aus dem Allgäu bringen reichlich Erfahrung aus unterschiedlichsten Genres und Bands mit. Mit Klassikern von Tower of Power, Chicago und Blood, Sweat & Tears sowie modernen Grooves von Cory Wong, Elektro Deluxe und Scary Pockets spannt die Band einen musikalischen Bogen über sechs Jahrzehnte – stets mit eigener Handschrift. Den unverwechselbaren Sound prägen die powervolle fünfköpfige Horn-Section, die Heavy Horns, eine funky-groovende Rhythm-Section und die vielseitigen Stimmen von Simone und Oliver. Die Mission ist klar: Musik auf die Bühne bringen, die man live kaum noch hört – mit Leidenschaft, Spielfreude und echtem Soul.
