ConcertSeries1: Heva Vaupel & Tapiwa Svosve

For the second installment at Bullingerstrasse 9, ConcertSeries1 invites two artists: 

Heva Vaupel merges classic black metal tropes with contemporary electronic elements, channeling her distinct sensibility for production and noise into something both romantic and brutal. Blast beats, distorted tremolo guitars, and heavy sub bass collide with lyrics steeped in love and longing.

Tapiwa Svosve’s work enjoys a unique temperament that spans extreme avant-gardism, free jazz, and noise music. Thinking through silence, negative space, solo performance, and the negotiations between body and instrument, he adapts music and sound to develop various physical and performative techniques.
