Selten hat man so stilvoll in Melancholie gebadet wie mit den Liedern der Sängerin und Komponistin Katja Aujesky. Vielleicht liegt es daran, dass sie im Dezember, der dunkelsten aller Jahreszeiten, geboren wurde und als Kind unter starken Schlafstörungen litt. Die langen Nächte verbrachte sie mit Tagträumen. Wenn es um ihre Musik geht, ist die Wahlberlinerin allerdings hellwach und erfindet ein neues Genre für sich. Nachtmusik.

Katja wurde 1983 in Wiesbaden geboren, nahm Ballett-, Klavier- und Geigenunterricht, absolvierte 2002 das Abitur am Theresianum in Mainz, studierte Popakademie Mannheim: Popmusikdesign mit Hauptfach Gesang, studierte JAZZ/POPmusik, Hauptfach Gesang an der Hochschule für Musik in Mainz (Bachelor of Musical Arts) und lebt jetzt in Berlin.
