Turkish rock meets German alternative Music in the heart of Berlin-Kreuzberg. Led by singer and songwriter Eren Toski, and backed by his live band The Ortam, the project delivers sharp guitars, driving rhythms and melodies shaped by the city’s multicultural pulse.
On stage, The Ortam turn rock shows into something warmer and more communal — closer to a beach party than a conventional gig. Hawaiian shirts, pineapples and sun-soaked colour cut through Berlin’s grey concrete, creating a space where people dance, connect and escape the winter outside. Grounded in Kreuzberg’s DIY culture and a strong sense of community and social justice, the band’s shows are open, welcoming and energetic — places where everyone can come as they are.
