Cypriotness X Hisham Assaad
Salt, Oil and Memory -a Pop-Up Dinner
Cypriotness welcomes Lebanese Palestinian Chef Hisham Asaad for an intimate one-night dining experience rooted in the Eastern Mediterranean. Through his cooking, Hisham shines a light on the deep and storied culinary traditions of Lebanon and Palestine — a cuisine of memory, generosity, and extraordinary flavour.
Separated by sea yet shaped by the same tides of history, Cypriot and Lebanese-Palestinian cuisines carry the layered imprint of civilisations that passed through, occupied, and left their mark on both lands. It is in this parallel story of resilience and reinvention that the two kitchens find their deepest common ground — and where this evening begins.
Expect delicious food, long tables, lively conversation, and exceptional wine.
