Ikonische Positionen und Schlüsselwerke entstanden in Island: eine Reisegruppe aus Tilda Swinton, Joan Jonas, Roman Signer und Nico.

Mit Roman Signer eröffnet einer der bedeutendsten Schweizer Gegenwartskünstler mit einer seiner «Zeitskulpturen» am isländischen Wasserfall. La Cicatrice Intérieure (1972) von Philippe Garrel ist ein legendäres Underground-Werk. Die ikonischen Nico spielt die Hauptrolle und schuf den Soundtrack. Volcano Saga (1989) von Joan Jonas zeigt Tilda Swinton in einer frühen Rolle philosophierend/traumdeutend im Wasser.
