Natur, Freiheit und Abenteuer – drei Wörter, die im Kopf sofort Bilder von Kanada und Alaska entstehen lassen: Bären, die Lachs fangen, röhrende Elche, unendliche Wälder und bunt schillernde Nordlichter. Die Sehnsucht nach dem Unberührten führt auch den Reisejournalisten Pascal Violo auf eine abenteuerliche Tour in den Norden Amerikas. Dort erkundet er zu Fuß die Rocky Mountains, umrundet den Gipfel des „kältesten Berges der Welt“ mit einem Propellerflugzeug, durchquert die menschenleere Inside Passage Alaskas auf einem Segelboot und paddelt 800 Kilometer entlang des Yukon. Die Goldsucherlegende um Jack London, seltene Einblicke in indigene Kulturen und die fragile Welt der Eisbären machen diese Reise zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis.

Kinder: Kinder bis 14 Jahre zahlen nur 10 Euro. Ein Kind bis einschließlich drei Jahre hat Anspruch auf einen kostenfreien Schoßplatz pro Erwachsenem.
