The epic Swiss Train Rally is back! This is a national event of ESN Switzerland, meaning exchange students from all sections from Switzerland can participate. The event will happen on April 16th.

What is the concept of the event?

The Swiss Train Rally is a big game that we play in various cities, all over Switzerland! Teams go by train from one location to another, each with a different timing, and collect points by winning or solving challenges. The trajectory of each team is different and is kept secret until the morning of the event. Teams of exchange students are formed within each section, and each team is accompanied by 2 (or 1) ESNers, in charge of the team (“Team Leaders”). They get to discover 3 to 4 cities throughout the day. Teams of 10-15 participants will be formed, each team will meet other teams throughout their travel. Those ready for an international party, can stay for the afterparty in the final city!

Where? The meeting point will be at the Fribourg Train Station

When? 16th of May 2026 - exact timing will be communicated with you in time after registration - BEWARE: long day!

What to bring? Comfortable clothes, water bottle and something to eat for lunch and dinner
