Sie war unbequem, leidenschaftlich, radikal: Clara Zetkin – Frauenrechtlerin, Kommunistin, Visionärin. Eine Frau, die Grenzen sprengte, für ihre Überzeugungen einstand und das politische Geschehen ihrer Zeit mitgestaltete.

Mit eisernem Willen und warmherzigem Auftreten kämpfte sie für Gleichberechtigung, Frieden und Freiheit – und zahlte dafür einen hohen Preis. Sie gründete den Internationalen Frauentag, lebte eine unkonventionelle Liebe, trotzte Krankheit und Repressionen, und eröffnete – unter Lebensgefahr – 1932 als Alterspräsidentin den Reichstag.

„Clara Z – Kämpfen, wo das Leben ist“ wirft einen intensiven, persönlichen Blick auf das Leben einer Frau, die mehr war als eine historische Figur: Freundin von Rosa Luxemburg und Lenin, entschiedene Kritikerin des Kapitalismus und eine unermüdliche Kämpferin für die Befreiung der Frau und der Arbeiterschaft.

Ein Schauspiel, das Geschichte lebendig macht – inspirierend, bewegend, und erschreckend aktuell.
