As an organiser from Switzerland, can I create events for Germany and vice versa?

In principle, it is possible to create events across your own national border in Germany, Switzerland ort Austria and sell tickets for these events on Eventfrog. We'll show you what you need to bear in mind.

Create events for neighbouring countries

With your Eventfrog account, you can create events on eventfrog.ch, eventfrog.de and eventfrog.at. Your organiser account is valid across all countries.

Examples:

• If you plan to host an event in Switzerland, create it on www.eventfrog.ch.
• If your event takes place in Germany, create it on www.eventfrog.de.
• If the event will be held in Austria, create it on www.eventfrog.at.

Selling tickets for events in neighbouring countries

If you want to sell tickets for an event taking place in another country, please note the following:

1. Always create the event on the domain of the country where it will take place: .de for Germany, .ch for Switzerland, and .at for Austria.

2. The currency is determined by the domain you use: events created on .de and .at use euros (EUR), while events on .ch use Swiss francs (CHF).

Note: Tickets can only be sold in one currency at a time.

Special cases

If you would like to host an event in Germany but sell your tickets in Switzerland and in CHF, you can simply create the event on eventfrog.ch and enter the German event location.

In this case, the event will appear on eventfrog.ch and ticket sales will be processed in CHF.

The reverse setup is also possible.
