Zürich Moon Circle - Full Moon Eclipse in Virgo Circle

This is Zürich Moon Circle, a fortnightly gathering for women and femmes who want real connection without the performance.

The total lunar eclipse in Virgo happens 3 March 2026 at 12°54', but we're gathering on 27 February - right in the thick of the energy building toward it (eclipse energy is active for days before and after the exact moment). This is a blood moon, the 5th eclipse in the Virgo-Pisces series running from Sept 2024 through Feb 2027, and it's a South Node eclipse, which means: endings, completion, what's exhausted. Not new beginnings.

Mercury retrograde is also active (26 Feb - 20 March), and Mercury (Virgo's ruler) is in Pisces - its foggiest, most slippery placement. You cannot think your way through this. Your body knows before your brain does.

We're also in Fire Horse year now (Chinese astrology 2026) - wild, untameable, intolerant of stagnation, refusing to self-sacrifice. The question this eclipse is asking isn't "How can I be better?" It's "What am I done tolerating?"

Where are you over-functioning to avoid claiming your freedom? Where is your competence keeping you trapped? Where has discipline become self-imprisonment? What role are you exhausted from performing?

What happens in the circle:

We'll start with astrology teaching on the Virgo-Pisces polarity, Fire Horse energy, and what this eclipse series is revealing. Then we'll move into the body - somatic discharge work to complete the stress cycle most of us are holding (tight jaw, clenched shoulders, braced pelvic floor). After that, a guided meditation to meet the exhausted part of yourself and release what's ready to compost.

Then we'll work with herbs, paper, fire, and ritual. There will be journaling, hands-on making, oracle cards, and a dance party to close.

I'm deliberately not outlining every single step here because part of what makes ritual work is the room it leaves for mystery, for what actually needs to happen in the moment rather than what was planned three weeks ago. The container is solid. The structure is there. But so is the space for surprise, for mess, for whatever wants to move through.

This circle is grounded, embodied, and a little wild. Virgo wants discernment. Fire Horse wants freedom. We're holding both.

What is Zürich Moon Circle?

A space for women and femmes who want to connect with themselves, with others, and with the cycles that shape our bodies and the world around us. This is for the spiritually curious, the spiritually fatigued, or anyone tired of chasing the next promise of transformation. If you want something grounded, cyclical, and honest, this is for you.

No two circles are the same. Each gathering is guided by the energy in the room, what's true for us in the moment, and the astrology of the lunation. There's no pressure to perform, nothing to make palatable, no need to be anything but yourself.

We meet under each New and Full Moon (every second Friday at ATMAN Studio), working with its natural rhythm:

• New Moon: a time for beginnings, intention-setting, planting seeds
• Full Moon: a time for clarity, harvest, and letting go

We use astrology as a lens, not a rulebook. It's a practical tool for tuning into lunar and zodiac cycles, as well as the cycles of nature and the seasons.

What to bring:

• Yourself (as you are, not as you think you should be)
• Comfortable clothes you can move in
• A journal and pen if you like writing things down
• A water bottle

No experience needed. You don't need to know astrology. You don't need to have "done the work." You just need to show up.

Who is Pia?

I'm Pia Simona - astrologer, somatic practitioner, circle facilitator, mum of two, endometriosis advocate, and ex-teacher. Born and raised in Sydney, I've been living in Zürich for about 15 years. I blend astrology, movement, ritual, and real talk in circles and 1:1 sessions for people who want something honest and grounded in what's real for them.

I've been holding space and facilitating groups for years, drawing on a background in teaching, astrology, somatic work, and a lot of lived experience. Sydney Moon Circle was one of the most fulfilling things I ever created - born from the lack of spaces where I could show up as myself. Now I'm bringing that same energy to Zürich.

You don't need a uterus (I don't even have one anymore), a belief system, or any particular experience to join. These spaces are for all women and femmes, full stop.
