The exhibition is dedicated to the female body and its representation through various materials. The central concept revolves around the idea of revealing oneself and no longer hiding, recognizing the beauty of the female form and viewing it as art. Through the integration of the “5 Elements” – Air, Earth, Fire, Water, and Love/Self-Love – the artworks explore this theme, supported by a carefully chosen color palette of black, white, beige, gold, and silver.

By expressing the female form through art, the exhibition features paintings, photography, sculptures, films, and more, offering a diverse and immersive experience. Each medium plays a role in capturing the essence of the body and soul, celebrating the unity of feminine beauty and inner strength.

Art has been a part of her life since she first held a pencil, a tool she has used to express the complexities within her. For her, exhibiting art is an act of vulnerability, as each piece reflects the emotions and experiences she carries. Tschannen has consistently resisted conforming to societal norms, opting instead to forge her own path. The female body, in all its forms, serves as a profound source of inspiration for her, and she finds beauty in depicting it through various artistic styles. Despite her deep appreciation for the body as art, the decision to portray herself nude is a new and courageous step. This journey allows her to embrace her own vulnerability and push the boundaries of her self-expression.

Christoph Marti

Christoph Marti works internationally as a portrait, fashion, and fine art photographer. The combination of his current work and his former career as a chef results in a flood of creativity. With his works, often described as timeless, he has attracted attention from an early stage. Marti has long been fascinated by working with female bodies, always placing great importance on aesthetics. As stated in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, “I don’t like it when pictures are sexy.” It is always a fine line between aesthetics and a cheap-looking photo when working with nude bodies, but over the years he has refined this and the way he interacts with people, so that his works are what they are. In addition to his black and white photography, Marti is also known for the connection he builds with his models, often focusing on the eyes—trust is the most important factor in this.
